Pssssst ! - Santa, In case you are still wondering what the kids really want this year - here are some ideas.

The list which was recently published in Forbes, has been compiled from the most searched toys and video games provided by Internet Company Google.

Bakugan

Surprisingly the most 'searched' game of the season is based on a Japanese animated cartoon series. Bakugan is a game played with magnetic cards and action figures. Each player pretends to be one of the various warrior characters in the series and 'battle' it out with the others by landing on the cards with the most points. Besides the basic game, the games has a lot of accessories, including the Bakugan warriors, which all have to be bought separately.

Guitar Hero : World Tour

The fourth in the Guitar Hero Series, the video game is available for all major game consoles. The game allows players to create new songs, save, upload and even share them with their friends. Besides having the guitar-shaped controller to simulate rock music, this is the first game version that also has drum and microphone controllers.

Webkinz

The craze to collect the cutest stuffed animals that come with a special code via which kids can enter the magical world of Webkinz continues. Once the stuffed animal is registered, it becomes a virtual pet, that kids can look after for a year. By earning money from online games, kids can buy food, clothing (even designer jeans), and a place to live. While the pets have a basic room, kids can buy additional rooms, backyards and even flat screen televisions for their pet's comfort. If they really want to spoil their pet, they can send him on a vacation or a SPA.

Elmo Live

Twenty-three years after he was introduced to the World, this red furry monster continues to be a favorite of the wee ones.

Elmo Live lives up to his name, as this is the first time, the monster is actually speaking like a real person. He realistically waves his arms, legs and even crosses his legs as he sings songs, tells stories and plays games. And yes he is still ticklish, breaking into giggles at a mere push of his foot, tummy, nose or back.

Wii Music

Music certainly seems like the most popular choice this year, as this third music video game makes the list. Unlike the other two, where the songs are pre-programmed, Wii music allows users to pick from 60 instruments and create their own medley.

Rock Band 2

The sequel to the very popular video game that allows up to four players to perform in a band. This version allows for a lead guitarist, a bass guitarist, a drummer and a singer on the microphone. Players can simulate by scrolling notes on the screen of any of the 84 free songs available. Another 20 free down-loadable songs are also available as are thousands others for purchase. Players will therefore never tire of the game for lack of songs.

Other popular items on Christmas lists include Kids Tough Digital Camera, Optimus Prime Transformers, Pleo Dinosaur and Legos Mindstorms NXT.

Now lets just hope Santa reads this post in time - Merry Christmas!
