Have you ever switcherooed? Katie Kazoo Switcheroo Holly’s Jolly Christmas by Nancy Krulik, is not just a creative, crazy weird (the good weird), and loving book, but an adventurous book as well. Red headed Katie got so embarrassed in third grade. When she was about to go to sleep that night. She looked out her side bed window, and wished she could be ANYONE, ANYBODY, but herself. But little did she realize that a shooting star had just whizzed by her house out of her sight! The next morning she found herself being switched into anything that the magic wind wanted. But Katie doesn’t even mind the magic wind. Katie Kazoo didn’t really mind anything at that point because most importantly it was almost Christmas time, and that was most important to Katie Kazoo! She suddenly turns into one of the weirdest things she had ever turned into! She turned into… well if you wanna find out you better read the book! Katie got into a little trouble, A LOT OF TROUBLE!!! Anyways, I very much recommend this book because it’s magical! I really liked this book and I think you will too!

Have you ever seen a person turn into a reindeer? In this book Katie, George (Katie’s good friend), and their teacher Mr. G, are all in the Christmas spirit. Katie especially wants it to be Christmastime. She was so happy when for lunch Katie got a Sandwich with lettuce, tomato and cheese that was shaped like a tree. She had a red and white candy cane for her desert. She is careful not to wish for anything because when she makes wishes, they actually come true!! Katie has a magic wind that can change her into anything including pets and other people. Hopefully Katie doesn’t mess up with Christmas with any switcheroos. Can she do it??? I love this book. One reason is because it is funny. In school Mr.G is the crazy teacher. He lets the kids have teams to fit as many balls into George’s pants. Another reason is that it is full of adventures. Katie got changed into a reindeer because in the nighttime there was a star on top of her head and the next day she turned into a reindeer. It was a great book you should read it.
