Raina, the author, based this book on her childhood with her sister, Amara. Before Amara, was born, Raina was super excited since she wanted someone to play with her and share her interests. When Amara arrives, she does not really get along well with Raina, but they do have their moments of realization that they are siblings and always will be. This book really reminds me of my younger brother and I.

Smile tells a true story of the author, which I found to be interesting, and it had me feeling what the main character was feeling.

Wonder is a great book that really makes you feel what each and individual character is feeling due to the shift of character point of view every few chapters.

Dork Diaries 1 tells the story of an awkward, dorky tween, Nikki Maxwell, who is not exactly popular. Middle school life is cruel, and her enemy, the popular girl Mackenzie, flirts with Nikki's crush, makes it even harder. And, to top it all off, the only reason why Nikki is going to this rich kid middle school is because her dad is the school exterminator. He drives a van with a big old roach on it!

THIS BOOK IS AMAZING! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED it! I would recommend this book for ages 5+, since anybody who is able to read and write should be able to enjoy this book. NOBODY is TOO OLD to enjoy this book either! After all, who doesn't love destroying something?

Greg Heffley loves to stay inside and play video games, but his parents absolutely disagree. His mom lectured him about the good old days, and made a petition for everyone in their town to stop using electronics for a few days. I recommend this book for ages 7+.

I read this book to my baby brother, and he really seemed to like it! He was crying, but once I read it to him, he stopped and listened.
