Warning! This review contains spoilers! What I thought of it: This movie was completely underrated. It got mostly negative reviews ( maybe not on this website, but everywhere else). I don't get why. It's excellent. Surly, was a great main character. He was a loner, and kind of a jerk. Most of the time him being a jerk didn't bother me. However, it did bother me when he was being mean to Buddy. Especially the last time, when Buddy was trying to defend him. His response didn't make much sense. I mean who reacts like that in the given situation?! Buddy was a great character too, though. The best part of the movie was the end, when Surly hugs Buddy. That made the whole movie. I also liked the fact that there wasn't much going on with the "love interest". I mean Surly and Andie were supposed to "like" each other, but there was never any signs of them liking each other besides the fact that people said it. I wasn't a big fan of Andie anyway. Her character was just the typical perfect love interest who wasn't very interesting. I did really like Grayson, though. I know I'm supposed to hate him, or whatever, but I really liked him. He was funny and pleasant. He also probably had serious brain damage... But he was interesting, so who cares? I admit I was planning on not finishing this movie, but I'm glad I changed my mind. Overall, it was pretty good.
