There's a seagull! It just flew through Zorba's window. That's strange. Why is it covered in oil??????????? The seagull, whose name is Kengah, lays an egg. Then she dies. But before that, she tells Zorba, who is a cat, to look after the egg, and when the chick hatches, to teach it to fly. And Zorba agrees. Soon, he has told his cat friends, Einstein, Colonel, and Secretario. But no matter how many times Einstein consults the encyclopedia, the cats cannot figure out how to teach Lucky to fly. And she is losing hope! How will they do it? The book was easy to read and not very long. I also liked the illustrations except for the ones on pages 33 and 113, which were VERY weird. And it was very interesting to read and good.

Unlike his friends, Karl, Daniel, and Martin, Bruno does not know exactly what his father does at work. But he does know that the entire family is moving because of it. They're going to a place called Out-With, which is very far from Berlin and in the middle of nowhere. And the house has only 3 stories! Worst of all, there is no banister to slide down! But when Bruno looks out of his window, he sees PAJAMA PEOPLE. WHat?? Who are they? They're all wearing gray pajamas! Soon, he meets one, named Shmuel, and becomes friends with him. They meet every afternoon and talk about STUFF. But why is there a fence between them? Why aren't the pajama people allowed outside? This book was really funny sometimes and really easy to read. But it's a little sad at the end.

One day Alex Rider wakes up and finds out that his uncle, Ian Rider, a bank worker, has DIED in a car crash. The police say that he wasn't wearing a seat belt. Huh?? Alex knows that Ian ALWAYS wears a seatbelt when driving. So, he decides to go find his car. Wait......Are those bullet holes??? Soon, Alex learns that the bank isn't really a bank and that Ian Rider is actually a spy for MI6! He also learns that the bank is now his legal guardian, and he has no choice but to go on a DANGEROUS mission. An Egyptian millionaire named Herod Sayle is giving away cool new computers to every school in England! But MI6 thinks something is wrong. Alex will have to find out what. Will he discover Mr. Sayle's secret? More importantly, will he survive the mission? The book was really exciting! It had a lot of action and adventure.
