What do the World Cup Trophy and the Winchester U-14 Championship Soccer League Trophy have in common? These trophies are both replicas! The original trophies were stolen and later replaced. Whatever happened to the original World Cup Trophy? What happened to the Winchester’s Soccer Trophy? Well with a little bit of history and some good sleuth work, three thirteen-year-old awesome soccer players use their wit and connections to the community librarians, former police chief, and former soccer coaches to unravel the mystery. Twins, Ava and Aiden, along with their friend Daniel all play on the U-14 girls or boys soccer team. They have to balance their desire to solve the mystery surrounding the 40 year old missing trophy, their practices and games during the championship along with their schoolwork. With each game win, the trio is fueled even more to figure out if the trophy thief was a friend or foe or a face in the cheering crowd or even a family member? Will the roadblocks of uncooperating coaches and wavering memories fold the three? Well, you will need to read Fred Bowen’s newest book Soccer Trophy Mystery to find out. Filled with tons of soccer jargon and exciting game moments, I recommend this book if you enjoy soccer and mystery. The book is for 7 and up, but will be a quick read for 10-year-old and up. I enjoyed how the book introduces one piece of information at a time so that the reader can formulate her or his opinion.

    I. ABSOLUTELY. LOVE. GREEK. MYTHOLOGY!!! The Zeus series is one of my favorite and I can not wait to share it with my cousins and my pet hamster. Well, my pet hamster is not a real hamster but I am will still share it with her! I am also starting a book share at my school with girls who have been or are being bullied. So instead of sitting by themselves at lunch or after-school, they can share books and sit together. I can't wait to see the read Zeus' new adventures!

I am a true DH NG fan! I have a great growing library that I share with my cousins and friends. One of my friends is moving away so as much as I would like this book for myself, if I win one, I will gift it to my friend so she can start her own library. NG is a fun way for me to meet new friends and connect. I know she would love it as much as I would.

This book is about a middle-schooler named Chase Andrews who loses his memory after falling off his roof, however, he still retains the ability to know motor skills, such as reading, writing, walking, talking, etc. This means that he is given a second chance, hopefully, to change his old bullying ways. He is displayed in this book as an eighth grade, and I am in eighth grade as well. Although the writer had a good idea in mind while writing it, it was pretty predictable to me, and mostly all of the things that I expected to happen did. The only things that I didn't guess were the little details in between. To be fair, the author did gives us many hints. I listened to the whole book on audiobook, as I would not usually read a "short" book like this, but listening to it was great! You can listen while working on a hobby or just relaxing in your room to keep your brain working!

National Geographic has done it again! The Cutest Animals on the Planet is a must have for any animal lover-such as me. This book would also become a part of my shared library that I am creating and reading to my younger sister Girl Scouts to teach them how important animals are and to help them earn their Red Robin Award. I am an NG enthusiast and have several NG books that I love and read and reread over and over again. I would be over the moon, like the cow in "Hey Diddle, Diddle" if I am able to win a copy of this book.

This series is starting to grow on me as I am a big NG fan. Some of the mystery is not too hard to figure out, but the adventures and challenges in the series are really cool. I don't own a copy and would like to start building the series in my library. Books 1-4 are on my wish list, too! Fun to read and tons of action.
