I gave this book a two star rating because at the start it really confused me and got me off track since of how many details. I made a connection of the book by Winnie going out to explore the outside world and leave her family. Here is a whole summary, Mae Tuck goes to pick up her two sons to meet up since they do that every 10 years. Over in the Fosters' family Winnie just ran away since she doesn't like her way of living. Winnie meets the Tucks and they tell Winnie their secret of being immortal. Later on a man in a yellow suit says that the Tucks kidnapped Winnie. In return Mae kills the man in the yellow suit which make Mae sentenced to death. Once Mae was in her jail cell The Tucks and Winnie help Mae get out and replace Mae with Winnie. After the Tucks gave Winnie the spring water which makes her immortal if she drinks it, but she doesn't and decides to pour it on a frog.

I rate this book a 3 star because this book talks about how Mark Twain became famous. I made a connection to Mark Twain because he always liked being alone near the Mississippi River and I like being alone for most of my time. Best known as the author of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Mark Twain, not unlike his protagonist, Huck, has a restless spirit. He found adventure prospecting for silver in Nevada, navigating steamboats down the Mississippi, and making people laugh around the world. There is my summary of this book and my review!

I rate this book a 4 star because Lois Lowry shows her creativity of dreams and nightmares. I made a connection because John was in a nightmare which would happen to me at least every 2 weeks. This book seeks to tell the origin story of dreams by following a supernatural being called Littlest One, a fairy-like creature who, taking memories from common household objects, uses them to weave beautiful dreams. This is my review on this book, Gossamer.

I gave this book a 5 star because it shows a great story at the end. I made a connection because Matty helped the giver like if I would help my grandpa. Matty, a teenage boy who serves as a message-bearer through the menacing forest that surrounds his community. As he develops mysterious healing powers, he becomes a focal point for different factions who want to use his powers for their own benefit. This is my review on this book, Messenger.

I rate this book a 3 star because it shows a good way of showing confusing mysteries that will befuddle you. Also I made a connection because I love mysteries and trying to find them out. Sam Westing's fortune are brought together at his mansion in order to solve his secret through clues. Sixteen heirs play the game to win the fortune; in addition, there are a few other characters who are not part of the game. This is my review on this book!
