The protagonist is Homer Winslow Pudding. He is a 12 year old boy with big hopes of becoming a treasure hunter and becoming like his departed Uncle Drake. The antagonist is Madame le Directeur. She is the one who murdered Homer’s uncle because they were looking for the same map. The book focuses on a very droopy dog named Dog. He was Homer’s uncle’s most valued possession due to his secret treasure hunting abilities. The first conflict in the story is that Homer’s father will not let him pursue his treasure hunting dreams. The second and larger conflict is that Madame Le Directeur is looking for the same map that Homer is, and is willing to kill him to get it. The turning point is when Homer’s uncle’s most treasured possession is delivered to him after the death of his uncle. This possession turned out to be a very droopy dog with a mysterious coin that throws Homer into his treasure hunting dream. This book was great. It was funny, mysterious, and very enjoyable. I recommend it to everyone with a sense of adventure.

The book that I will be talking about is a book written by Seymour Rossel called “The Holocaust” which is about the Holocaust. The Holocaust takes place in Germany 1933-1945. The overall focus of this book is Hitler's actions and basically what he's done. The first conflict in the book that I will be talking about is when Hitler starts to take action when he first started to get the jews to have separate things like separate bathrooms and being in the very back of the bus and things like that. And a second conflict I will be talking about is that all shops owned by jews were destroyed and robbed sometimes harming the owners or even killing them. One of the five interesting facts I will share is that Hitler actually got rejected from an art school more than once which lead his life to fascism. Another fact is that Hitler was once ordered to trim his mustache. A third fact is that Adolf actually loved Disney. A fourth fact is that Hitler was a vegetarian. And for the last fact I will be sharing is that Hitler's favorite actor only died in 2011. As a conclusion, I liked this book because it is very factual and goes through a timeline of Hitler’s actions and it is enjoyable to read. I would recommend this to more mature sixth graders and up because the book give you information about pretty graphic things that happened. This will conclude my book review.

This book sounds great and like a good Fablehaven book i have read all of the Fablehaven books except this one and it would be great to have and a good read.

WARNING SPOILERS! Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be peculiar? Well Jacob Portman the protagonist has been peculiar his whole life without ever knowing! Ransom Riggs tells a beautiful story about people who can transform into birds, and people with other unique talents. Jacob and his father go to Wales on a vacation and while they are there Jacob finds a mysterious place his grandfather had talked about before he was killed by a hollowgast. Jacob finds the house but it is destroyed he turns around and he sees a few of the children. They lead him into the loop that they use which makes every day September 3, 1940. Jacob meets all the children and has dinner with them. Then the next day Miss Peregrine is kidnapped by a wight (a evolved form of a hollowgast) named Dr. Golan. Miss Peregrine almost dies from being attacked by the wight who kidnapped her. Thankfully the kids saved her from the wight but… she can’t turn back into a human. I would recommend this to people who want a thrill-seeking adventure.
