dang it's been super long since I posted a review. Shoutout to the editors that made a bunch of my reviews Editors Pick, thats pretty cool! Anyways this movie is really bad and insulting. I was lukewarm when I saw it, but then as time grew I hated it. It's such a boring take on Freddie Mercury, and the story seemed very obviously altered to fit a movie formula. The only thing that saves it is Rami Malek being a great actor, other than that it's a bruh moment 3.5/10

myspaceisbroken's movie review was featured in Rango.
Rango is quite terrific, and many aspects of the movie exceed when compared to the newer animated films. When I first saw this, I didn't care much and thought it was mediocre, but after a second watch I can surely tell this is well made. The voice acting is all good and most of the characters are interesting. While the lead female is cliche at elements, she stands out when compared to others. The animation is basically flawless. While it was made in 2011, the movie is incredibly beautiful with meticulously crafted visuals, and is in my opinion better looking than recent animated films. Every character has a distinct look that gives an extra diverse look on everyone. The action scenes are well put and exhilarating. All in all, this movie might be an animation masterpiece. 9/10

When I first saw Beauty And The Beast, I thought is was a great movie. The acting was terrific, the music was well made, the visual effects were....The sets and production design was magnificent, and as a beauty and the beast remake, it was all in all good. Then after a few months of watching, I realized lot's of problem's with it. For starters, the movie is quite forgettable. For being the highest grossing movie of the year for 9 months, you'd think buzz about the movie would be outstanding, but not much was heard in terms of hype. Besides that, the visual effects were pretty meh. The beast looks pretty dumb, and while they did do a great job in terms of his character, the animation of him kept the character in general to be weak. The other characters in terms of visual effects were as well lacking. Again, great and well executed characters, weak animation. Acting was as expected to be amazing, and all the performances captured the characters. Set's were gorgeous, and when first upon it you every aspect of it but as it grows old, the lumps and bumps start to show, as nasty hair dingles from upon us. All in all, the movie is good at first watch, but don't assume you'll remember it as well as the original. 5/10

myspaceisbroken's movie review was featured in Hidden Figures.
Hidden Figures is exactly what you'd expect, a fun, well made movie with good tension, characters, sets, cinematography, acting, and plot. Now from what I said, you may wonder why I did not give this an 8 or even a 7. But that's cause all the elements are only good, not great. Almost every aspect of this movie is good, but not good enough to recommend to someone serious in films. If you want to watch a empowering well put movie with great acting, then I highly recommend this. Ok I lied, the acting is more than good, it's quite great, Taraji P. Henson and Kevin Costner were very good. Octavia Spencer was good, but I found her performance in Fruit vale Station and other films to be better. Jim Parsons was bad. Most of his lines did not match him and should have been given to another actor. Also every word was nervously sputtered similar to The big Bang Theory, which made the character worse. The movie is visually appealing and never looked ugly. The plot and events were good, but there was one moment without spoiling where a character has issues with another, but their issues are fixed quickly. I have a pet peeve when this happens, and unnecessary, but maybe it happened in her life, so that point isn't entirely useful. All in all, this movie has lot's of good elements, but none of them are entirely amazing. 6.5/10 and maybe a 7.
