Why such a low rating? This book is so underrated! People just didn't like it that much because there wasn't a Hunger Games in it, and it had a dark ending. Sorry that you find people slaughtering each other in a vast/ inescapable outdoor arena is more entertaining, than about war, rebellion, and the character's fate. Sorry it didn't get the magical fairytale ending you hoped to, but that's what happens in war.. people die! This book was based on war, so yeah, A LOT of people died. Just be glad your OTP Katniss & Peeta (or as you like to say Peeniss Everlark or Toast) ended up together.

I didn't understand this. On positive note, it was directed nicely!

This is actually a really good movie. Emma Stone is one of the only funny actresses out there.

I love Logan Lerman and I legitimately fancy him, but this wasn't faithful to the book AT ALL!! The director even admitted he didn't read the book!! Even if you don't compare it to the book, it's still a really cheesy movie that's rushed and horribly written. The thing that amused me is that Grover is supposed to be Percy's "protector" and he nearly got him killed like 3 times! Luke was evil and wanted to take over the gods for no apparent reason or explanation. The dumbest part is that he decides to go on the quest a DAY after arriving at the camp, with no experience, and not realizing the likely chance that he'll probably get eaten by monsters. It just makes me laugh about the fact that he kills Luke, with his water powers that he perfected with zero training, and probably only about a week after he found out he was a demigod.

This book used to scare me so much! AHHHHHH!! I think I'd appreciate it more today, since I'm old enough now to understand the concept of the actual story. Instead of Camilla's skin problems.
