Nora has a big secret. The secret is that she's a genius! Nora learned to read in kindergarten, and could easily solve jigsaw puzzles when she was a baby! But Nora doesn't like people to make a big deal about her intelligence. So she tries not to show that she's a genius. When she takes the Connecticut Mastery Test, she purposely gets a few questions wrong so it'll seem like she's an average student. Another thing Nora dislikes is how her classmates make a big deal out of their test scores. Especially her friend Steven. So on 5 of the tests, she deliberately gets D's. When Nora's parents find out, they get angry and call the school. Then, Nora has to take an IQ test, and she accidentally reveals how smart she is. What will happen then? I like this book because it's exciting and also funny. I recommend this book to people who enjoy realistic fiction books.Almost 2 years agozarkinpants added a book review.

One morning, Harry Potter wakes up because his scar is hurting. He's just woken from a vivid dream about Lord Voldemort. In it, Lord Voldemort performs a deadly curse on a Muggle. But the dream can't be true, can it? Also, why is Harry's scar hurting? When Harry arrives at Hogwarts, he learns that the Triwizard Tournament will be held at Hogwarts. In the tournament, the three main European schools, Durmstrang, Beaxbaton, and Hogwarts each choose a champion to complete three challenging tasks. The contest hasn't been held for years due to its high danger level, but this time, Dumbledore assures the students that no one will get badly hurt. Only seventh-year students will be allowed to compete in the Triwizard Tournament, so Harry doesn't put his name into the Goblet of Fire, which will choose the champion from each school. But when the day comes to reveal the champions, the goblet chooses him and Cedric Diggory to represent Hogwarts in the Triwizard Tournament. Harry didn't put his name in, so someone older must have put it for him. But who? Will Harry be able to compete against students who are older than him? Or will he look like a fool in front of the others? I liked this book because it was really funny. I recommend it for people who enjoy reading fantasy novels.Almost 2 years agozarkinpants has read this book.

Mary Poppins is the Banks children's nanny. They live in a tiny house on Cherry Tree Lane, only a little way away from the giant Park. Together, Mary Poppins and the children have adventures such as dancing with their own shadows, answering riddles on the Cat Star, and visiting Mary Poppins's extremely tiny cousin. What makes these adventures similar is that they all happen in the Park. I like this book because it's interesting and funny.Almost 2 years agozarkinpants added a new comment in
I read the 2019 edition and it was very fun and interesting. It told me a lot of weird facts that I never knew before. I really want to read this book because it might tell me even more facts! I would be thrilled if I could get it!!!!!!!Almost 2 years agozarkinpants has read this book.

The seven members of the Banks family all live in Number 17 at Cherry Tree Lane. Their neighbors include Admiral Boom, who lives in a house shaped like a ship, and Miss Lark, who has two dogs named Andrew and Willoughby. Caring for five kids takes a lot of effort, so Mr. and Mrs.Banks get a nanny named Mary Poppins. That was in the first book. Now, it's the third book, and it's the second time Mary Poppins has come back. This time, Jane, the oldest child in the family, and Michael, the second oldest, are going to the park so they can set off rockets in celebration of Guy Fawkes Day, a holiday celebrated in England. When Jane and Michael light their rocket, it shoots into the sky, but instead of exploding, it gives off just one spark. As the spark floats down to the ground, Jane and Michael can see that it's not a spark, it's Mary Poppins! All the children have many exciting adventures. In my opinion, this book was a little too similar to the other books in the Mary Poppins series, but it's really good,Almost 2 years ago
