I read this book for my 5th grade battle of the books, and have read it many times since! It is such an interesting perspective on the old fairy tale of Rumpelstiltskin. All that "Rump" knows is the first half of his name, and he will only be freed from his curse if he can find out what the other half of his name is!

This book is a really interesting story about race in a southern town. It can be quite a sad story, but it is a good read! I would recommend it for older middle school up into high school.

Malala is such a brave and encouraging figure you sometimes forget it is a true story. Her passion for equal education for girls is really amazing, and this book is all about her journey fighting the Taliban with education.

This book is so creative and fun! I love all the puzzles, and solving them right along side the characters makes reading this book an adventure.

I love all of the books in this series, and this one did not disappoint! With characters from the first book coming back to play again, along with a new round of challengers, any mystery/code lover will enjoy these books!

This is the second book in a Hindu mythology series following Aru Shah, a girl with the reincarnated spirit of one of the five Pandava brothers. She must go on a quest with her friends (and foes) to prove she is innocent of the robbery of a divine bow and arrow! Oh, and save thousands of people who have turned into zombies. That too.

This is such a good book. It is full of surprises and mysteries. If you are looking for an amazing book this is the one. If you've already read this there is a second book that I read too. I loved this book so I bet you will too!

This is the conclusion to one of my favorite book series of all time. Everything has reached a climax as the books come to a close. It's packed full of all the exciting adventure of the previous books, I would definitely recommend the whole series!

I just finished this book last night, and it was so good! It has all the charm of the first Aru Shah book, but with lots of new and fun characters. You definitely will need the glossary in the back to keep track of all the new gods, demons, and other players in the story!
