Jane and Michael hate their nanny, Katie Nanna. The two children and their family live on Number Seventeenth in Cherry-Tree Lane, the smallest house on the street. When Katie Nanna leaves, Jane ad Michael are overjoyed. But they're also worried. Will their next nanny be boring and old, like Katie Nanna? They soon find out when their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Banks, put an ad in the newspaper. Mr.Banks predicts that hundreds of nannies will line up for the job, but only one does. Her name is Marry Poppins, and she's young and also very strange. She can talk to animals and has a magical bag made of carpets! With Mary Poppins, the children have many weird adventures. I liked this book because it was interesting and funny.
